Amoxil is one of the safest antibiotics, allowing to treat most widespread infections. This medication is so safe that it can be safely used at home.

Amoxil is supplied in the form of pills of 250 and 500mg dosage. The drug dosage a day is defined first of all by the patient’s age. The period of treatment with Amoxil depends on disease duration. Amoxil is recommended to be taken till full symptom disappearance and even 2-3 days after. For most common infections this period is about 5-7 days. Amoxil will provide effect only if the treatment is fully passed. Otherwise some bacteria may remain in an organism and, if immunity is increased, lead to disease relapse.
